For a moment when everything is just right and feels good. The body feels good, daily life has become calmer, energy is clear, and the mind is free from all the small thoughts that usually linger in the background.  <br><br>I have decided to consciously dedicate space to this topic because I repeatedly observe how much this desire for perfection accompanies us. Especially when it comes to visibility. When someone stands in front of the camera, everything suddenly becomes very consciously perceived. Every small insecurity, every supposed imperfection receives attention.   <br><br>Many people therefore believe that everything must be perfect first before they can show themselves. From my own experience, however, I know that true development rarely arises from perfection. It arises from a process. From movement. From moments in which we begin to allow ourselves to stand exactly where we are right now. This quiet need to want to do everything right. To want to control everything. Perhaps even to make everything appear perfect.   <br><br>Many people immediately think of social media when asked this question. Of images that seem flawless. Of a world where everything looks easy, successful, and beautiful. But if you look closely, you quickly realize that this feeling is much older.   <br><br>Long before social media existed, people learned to meet expectations. We grow up in structures where performance is evaluated. In school, we learn early on that there are right and wrong answers. In our careers, we learn that results often seem more important than processes. Over time, an inner demand arises from this.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:italic;font-weight:500\">Do everything right.<br>Show no flaws.<br>Appear strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social media did not create this inner demand. It merely amplified and made it more visible. Suddenly, we no longer compare ourselves only with people in our immediate environment, but with an entire world full of images. But behind these images, the whole truth of a person is rarely found. Life itself always remains more complex than any image we can show of it.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator stood in front of the camera and wished for one thing above all else. They wanted to do everything right. The posture had to be correct. The gaze had to appear professional. The expression had to seem confident.    <br><br>I never judged anyone for it. This desire is very human. When we are seen, we want to show our best side. And yet, I often couldn&#8217;t let go of a feeling. The feeling that something very valuable can be lost in these moments.    <br><br>Authenticity. When a person tries too hard to be perfect, a small distance sometimes arises. Between the person themselves and the image that is to be created. The body becomes more controlled, the gaze a little more tense, the movement more cautious. The image can certainly look beautiful. But sometimes it lacks something. style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">Precisely for this reason, my work has changed more and more over the years. In the beginning, it was naturally also about good pictures. About light, composition, and a clear expression. But the longer I photograph, the more strongly I feel that photography can be much more than just a good picture.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-style:italic;font-weight:500\">It can be a space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A space where someone can briefly step out of all expectations. A space where no one has to pretend to be anything. A space where a person can simply be, without having to prove anything.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this space emerges, something very natural changes. Shoulders soften. Breathing calms. The gaze clarifies. And it is precisely in these moments that images often arise that truly tell a story. Not because they are perfect. Much more important to me is to recognize a moment in which a person is truly present. Presence has nothing to do with perfection.  <br><br>It arises when someone allows themselves to be exactly where they are right now. With all the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are part of their own journey. <br><br>Many people believe they first need to change before they are allowed to be visible. But my experience shows something different. A moment when everything seems ordered, the mind is clear, and life has become calmer. But if we are honest, life repeatedly shows us that it is rarely completely ordered, because it is constantly moving and changing.  <br><br>If we wait for everything to be perfect before we show ourselves, we often overlook precisely the moments that actually make up our lives. The transitions between what was and what is currently emerging. The development that sometimes happens quietly. And the silent strength that becomes visible when a person begins to truly take their own path seriously.   <br><br>Perhaps that is why visibility does not need a perfect moment. Perhaps it only needs an honest moment in which someone allows themselves to stand exactly where they are. <br><br>If, while reading, you realize that your previous images do not truly represent you, or that you have long felt that more of yourself should become visible, then perhaps now is a good moment to consider what this visibility could feel like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"
